CAN'T POOP?? TRY THIS!
Mornings are supposed to be 'that' time. The time of the day when you feel like Superman 😁 and you are ready to fight and expel all the 'evil' from your body. But can you imagine waking up in the morning, rushing to the toilet and trying to push out the waste to no avail, or worse still, you feel the urge to poop but when you get to the special room, you end up releasing peanut sized poop? 😩..... Trust me, i know the feeling. I was there until I realized a new trick, so easy yet super effective. Before I spill the beans on what the trick is, let us first mention a few causes for constipation.
They include;
- Lack of enough fiber in your diet
- Neglecting the urge to poop
- Lack of exercise
- Some medical prescriptions
- Not taking enough liquids
- Lifestyle changes such as, travel, pregnancy, etc...
- Gastrointestinal problems
What are some of the signs and symptoms of constipation?
- Abdominal pains
- Feeling lazy and tired (nausea)
- Bloating
- Bowel movements fewer than usual
- Difficult and painful bowel movements
- Dry or hard stool
- Straining bowel movements
- Loss of appetite
Complications that may arise due to constipation include;
- anal fissure which is a small tear around the anus
- rectal bleeding due to straining
- hemorrhoids which are swollen, inflamed blood vessels in the anus
Terminal complications include; reduced quality of life and depression.
So, onto my secret recipe for easy and complete bowel movement, take two cups of hot water first thing in the morning. That's it!!! Hot water.
